Education happens in stages.  We all learn with our 5 senses.  As a child we learned to walk by watching others and practicing.  Most of us learned in a loving and encouraging atmosphere.  It didn't matter if we learned to walk at 7 months or 14 it was our time table.  Somehow between that age and the age we go to school the environments change to age appropriate behavior, dead lines, and comparisons.  How can we maintain the loving and encouraging environment throughout our lives and especially in learning? 

In the Keystone Education model
The environment is patient, inspiration, asking, seeking and knocking.  God's in charge, we teach with the spirit and we learn by faith.
The experts are the scriptures, prophets and the spirit.  Truth is found by searching, pondering and praying.  It is measured by the scriptures, words of the prophets and by the spirit.  The doctrines of Christ and the principles of truth are the "why" and "what" of learning.
The method is LOVE, always showing, giving and accepting love, the "how" of learning.
We learn in repetitive stages. 
    1 - AWAKEN and remember who we are by learning the characteristics of God.     2 - Receive ASSURANCE that you are learning what God wants you to learn
   3 - ACQUIRE knowledge and understanding to fulfill your divine purpose
   4 - ACT on the knowledge and understanding by applying correct principles
    5 - ACHIEVE a new level, a change of heart and increased faith to begin again 

These are 5 key steps in the learning spiral.  Throughout the scriptures and words of the prophets we are taught about how learning is like a double helix spiraling upward and outward.  Each righteous decision brings us a step higher and closer to God.  Join us at Keystone Education where we experience, explain, explore and examine each of these steps in a loving and encouraging environment.
